My name is Dean. I’m a Java developer working for a large US software company. I work remotely from home, based in the UK living in rural Wiltshire. I’ve been working in the software industry since 1990 covering the financial, banking, marketing and technology sectors. I started out in mainframe development before moving into PC development in the mid 1990’s. I’ve always had an interest in technology and gadgets.

I used to be a big PC games fan with the Half-Life, Need For Speed, and Flight Simulator series being my favourites. I tend not to play too many games now, my wife complains that I spend too much time on the PC as it is
