XTE-2005 Update

Well I’ve had the XTE-2005 filtered ADSL face-plate fitted for a few days and so far so good. Installation was pretty straightforward. Unscrew the old face-plate from the BT master socket, then remove the wires from connection points 2 and 5 on the old face-plate and using an IDC insertion tool connect the wires to the new face-plate. Then screw the new face-plate back onto the BT master socket. The router is syncing at a constant 3776 Kbps and up-time is now 100 hours without a single re-sync. This is giving me download speeds of around 2.3Mb/s. Max ADSL is finally looking up :-)
