Internet Explorer 7 Available Soon

According to the MSDN blogs, Internet Explorer 7 will be available for download later this month, and will be delivered via automatic updates starting November 1st.

It will be interesting to see what the final version looks like. Hopefully it has improved since the last time I used it. At the end of August I was blogging about my impressions of Vista Build 5536 and at the time I found Internet Explorer 7 really slow, even with the security features like anti-phishing switched off.

I’ll certainly give Internet Explorer 7 another go when it gets released, no doubt I’ll be blogging about my experiences with the new browser next month 😉 But it will have a hard time trying to get me to switch from my favourite browser which is Firefox. I’m currently using Firefox 2 RC2 which looks pretty good.

Let the browser wars commence 🙂
